Introducing Kerstin Lankey

Kerstin started kart racing in May 2009, entering the Ancaster Karting Members Championship for the first time. Kerstin put in an impressive performance to win the Championship in October 2009 with one race in hand, securing a number of pole positions and race wins throughout the season. Moving on to MSA kart racing in October 2009, Kerstin had to start as a novice driver according to MSA regulations yet has demonstrated an impressive performance achieving top novice driver three times in the five races required before moving off a ‘novice licence’. Kerstin now drives Junior Rotax and is making great progress.

In her first season in Junior Rotax she secured second place in a club Winter Championship which brought her press coverage.
Kerstin has done extremely well to obtain sponsorship from Aldermore Bank and Ancaster Kart Racing for the second consecutive year so early in her karting experience. Kerstin is also supported at race meetings by one of the top drivers in the country.

When Kerstin is not karting, she enjoys kick boxing having achieved Black Belt 2nd dan and 2nd place in the British Open Championships in 2009. Kerstin is also a black belt in multi-fighting arts.
